Them: Hi, can I commission you to write a fanfic?
Me: Yes, sure, go ahead.
Them: What's your bank account number?
Me: ...What's your request?

Not that I'm not grateful that they were willing to pay up front but I was caught off guard. ^^

When I was being noisy about local K-pop fans' willingness to spend money on fanfic, the only way to shut me up would have been to bring up the doujinshi culture. Like I didn't see the parallel! Slow as usual.
