So what's with writing in cafes? I am often distracted by the nomming, no lie, though I like the ambience. It doesn't have to be a cafe per se for me, any place that sells food and provides individual tables will do.

♣ To follow your fanfic ideas, sometimes you have to disregard continuity with your other fics for the same fandom. e.g. wanting to write a Fullmetal Alchemist post-canon fic where Al loses his alchemy, then later developing an idea for a fic where he doesn't. This tendency toward discontinuity used to bother me, but no longer. /bothered by little details
