Gearing up for Day 2

On the first day I wrote more than 2,000 words (a first - on Day 1 I usually stuck to the required 1,667) and made this year's NaNo LJ/DW icon. And a loose outline proves to be really helpful - why didn't I do it in the previous years? I love pantsing too much, that's why.
This month I must also write something other than NaNo. Side projects can be great stress relievers.
