I wrote 1,003 words today, none of which are part of my intended Camp NaNoWriMo story. That story still remains a nebulous cloud inside my head. Not good.

9 productivity tips for writers. I did use FutureMe at some point, and I didn't meet the goal I set there. Moving on.
The shiny new idea syndrome. "...the first test of its novel worthiness is whether or not you can sustain that new-idea enthusiasm even if you don't immediately begin writing it. Because a truly novel-worthy idea will still be there waiting for you when you finish your first project." Yes, this. (says someone who experiences the shiny new idea syndrome all the time)
