Do writers get better the longer the write?
Regular writing can also help us improve our speed.
I believe that, even if it doesn't seem to apply to me. After five NaNos, I still haven't learned to shut down the inner editor and speedwrite. *shakes head*
The longer we write, the more potential we have for stagnating.
Leaving the comfort zone - for me that'd be, IDK, writing full-fledged romance? *sweatdrop*

re: the novel I'm supposed to be writing - I'm editing and rewriting the whole 9,000 words I've written. The opening in particular could use a total makeover. Why introduce an intriguing character later if you can do it on the first page? This is also a good way to get me back into the mood.

Ganked from everyone.

I was thinking you should tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?
I'm not actually promising to write any of these, mind you, but it's fun anyway. And who knows if I'll be inspired!
