mini_nanowrimo, if not a roaring success, is still a satisfying one. I only missed two days and the total wordcount is twice the target.
Disney parents: dead mothers and absent fathers. Having the MC's or other characters' parent(s) present in the story often leads to conflict and character development, so why not.
